United States Payroll Employment By State for The Local Government Executive Legislative And General Government Industry in July, 2019

According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2019, New York added the highest number of jobs to the local government executive, legislative and general government industry (16,877), followed by New Jersey (11,336), and Maryland (4,033).

On the other hand, Illinois added the least number of jobs (-1,273), followed by Georgia (-621), and Virginia (-548).
