United States Payroll Employment By State for The Local Government Executive Legislative And General Government Industry in August, 2021

According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2021, California added the highest number of jobs to the local government executive, legislative and general government industry (1,409), followed by Washington (175), and Utah (166).

On the other hand, New Jersey added the least number of jobs (-2,575), followed by Indiana (-1,922), and Georgia (-1,855).
