According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in November, 2021, New York added the highest number of jobs to the local government executive, legislative and general government industry (2,126), followed by Texas (1,617), and New Jersey (1,346).

On the other hand, Wisconsin added the least number of jobs (-950), followed by Illinois (-897), and California (-799).
