According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, New York added the highest number of jobs to the local government justice, public order, and safety activities industry (695), followed by Massachusetts (507), and Arizona (354).

On the other hand, Kansas added the least number of jobs (-109), followed by Illinois (-102), and California (-101).
