According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2020, California added the highest number of jobs to the local government community and housing program administration industry (), followed by Maryland (753), and Hawaii (252).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-341), followed by New York (-151), and Wisconsin (-42).
