According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2019, Connecticut added 5,614 number of jobs to the private goods-producing industry. Among Connecticut counties, Fairfield added the highest number of jobs (1,435), followed by Hartford (1,368), and New Haven (1,090).
