According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2019, North Carolina added 2,917 number of jobs to the private goods-producing industry. Among North Carolina counties, Mecklenburg added the highest number of jobs (842), followed by Henderson (377), and Union (333).
