According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2019, Illinois added 2,501 number of jobs to the private natural resources and mining industry. Among Illinois counties, Bureau added the highest number of jobs (624), followed by Champaign (438), and Whiteside (428).
