According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2019, Maine added 527 number of jobs to the private natural resources and mining industry. Among Maine counties, Aroostook added the highest number of jobs (157), followed by Androscoggin (57), and Penobscot (47).
