According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2020, Maine added 5,150 number of jobs to the private natural resources and mining industry. Among Maine counties, Somerset added the highest number of jobs (45), followed by Franklin (7), and Piscataquis (4).
