According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2019, Mississippi added -118 number of jobs to the private natural resources and mining industry. Among Mississippi counties, Choctaw added the highest number of jobs (54), followed by Coahoma (27), and Lamar (26).
