According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2020, New Mexico added -1,146 number of jobs to the private natural resources and mining industry. Among New Mexico counties, Doña Ana added the highest number of jobs (424), followed by Luna (170), and Sierra (125).
