According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2019, California added the highest number of jobs to the private natural resources and mining industry (60,199), followed by Washington (13,527), and Oregon (3,123).

On the other hand, Arizona added the least number of jobs (-5,505), followed by Alabama (-391), and Hawaii (-110).
