According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2022, Alaska added 9,099 number of jobs to the private manufacturing industry. Among Alaska counties, Aleutians West added the highest number of jobs (1,134), followed by Kodiak Island (510), and Matanuska-Susitna (70).
