According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2020, North Carolina added 8,021 number of jobs to the private trade, transportation, and utilities industry. Among North Carolina counties, Wake added the highest number of jobs (2,289), followed by Mecklenburg (1,448), and Forsyth (1,332).
