According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, New York added the highest number of jobs to the private trade, transportation, and utilities industry (8,294), followed by Pennsylvania (4,696), and Connecticut (3,842).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-11,823), followed by Texas (-7,030), and Michigan (-6,747).
