According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2019, Indiana added the highest number of jobs to the private forestry and logging industry (), followed by California (195), and Oregon (131).

On the other hand, Maine added the least number of jobs (-446), followed by Minnesota (-303), and Idaho (-248).
