According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2019, California added the highest number of jobs to the private forestry and logging industry (85), followed by Arkansas (38), and Washington (35).

On the other hand, Maryland added the least number of jobs (-23), followed by Alabama (-23), and West Virginia (-11).
