According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2019, Alaska added 152 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Alaska counties, North Slope added the highest number of jobs (69), followed by Anchorage (59), and Kenai Peninsula (32).
