According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, Alaska added 114 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Alaska counties, Southeast Fairbanks added the highest number of jobs (73), followed by Juneau (25), and Anchorage (22).
