According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2020, Alaska added -471 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Alaska counties, Kenai Peninsula added the highest number of jobs (46), followed by Matanuska-Susitna (3), and Yukon-Koyukuk (2).
