According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2020, Alaska added 141 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Alaska counties, Anchorage added the highest number of jobs (60), followed by North Slope (52), and Kenai Peninsula (49).
