According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2020, Illinois added -91 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Illinois counties, Lee added the highest number of jobs (20), followed by Kane (16), and Madison (15).
