According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2021, Illinois added -221 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Illinois counties, Franklin added the highest number of jobs (6), followed by LaSalle (6), and Lawrence (5).
