According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2020, Iowa added 118 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Iowa counties, Sioux added the highest number of jobs (15), followed by Allamakee (5), and Muscatine (4).
