According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2019, Kentucky added -20 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Kentucky counties, Muhlenberg added the highest number of jobs (36), followed by Bell (23), and Harlan (7).
