According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2019, Kentucky added 139 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Kentucky counties, Pike added the highest number of jobs (18), followed by Harlan (6), and Pulaski (6).
