According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2020, Kentucky added -441 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Kentucky counties, Floyd added the highest number of jobs (11), followed by Jefferson (7), and Boyd (6).
