According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2020, Louisiana added -134 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Louisiana counties, Jefferson Davis added the highest number of jobs (68), followed by Terrebonne (38), and Lafayette (31).
