According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2019, Michigan added 88 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Michigan counties, Genesee added the highest number of jobs (29), followed by Marquette (6), and Grand Traverse (5).
