According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2020, Michigan added 471 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Michigan counties, Marquette added the highest number of jobs (211), followed by Isabella (69), and Kalkaska (22).
