According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2020, Mississippi added -60 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Mississippi counties, Tippah added the highest number of jobs (5), followed by Lowndes (3), and Clarke (2).
