According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2023, Mississippi added 80 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Mississippi counties, Jones added the highest number of jobs (11), followed by Jackson (7), and Pearl River (6).
