According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2019, Missouri added 12 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Missouri counties, St. Francois added the highest number of jobs (26), followed by St. Louis (15), and Jefferson (9).
