According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2023, Missouri added 17 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Missouri counties, St. Louis added the highest number of jobs (29), followed by Ste. Genevieve (12), and Iron (11).
