According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, New Jersey added 39 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among New Jersey counties, Somerset added the highest number of jobs (7), followed by Ocean (6), and Cumberland (5).
