According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2019, New Mexico added -248 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among New Mexico counties, Eddy added the highest number of jobs (6), followed by Doña Ana (3), and Sandoval (2).
