According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2021, New Mexico added -25 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among New Mexico counties, Lea added the highest number of jobs (162), followed by Eddy (42), and Chaves (8).
