According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2019, New York added -41 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among New York counties, Suffolk added the highest number of jobs (16), followed by Rensselaer (9), and Orange (6).
