According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, Tennessee added 43 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Tennessee counties, Claiborne added the highest number of jobs (25), followed by Davidson (4), and Knox (3).
