According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2019, Virginia added 42 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Virginia counties, Dickenson added the highest number of jobs (24), followed by Buchanan (12), and Fairfax (12).
