According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2022, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry (3,689), followed by Louisiana (580), and Oklahoma (329).

On the other hand, Nevada added the least number of jobs (-73), followed by South Dakota (-31), and Ohio (-31).
