According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2022, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry (4,485), followed by New Mexico (662), and Louisiana (561).

On the other hand, Nebraska added the least number of jobs (-95), followed by Massachusetts (-39), and New Jersey (-26).
