According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2022, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry (1,727), followed by Pennsylvania (250), and New Mexico (232).

On the other hand, Arizona added the least number of jobs (-145), followed by Nevada (-126), and Colorado (-99).
