According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2019, Colorado added the highest number of jobs to the private oil and gas extraction industry (25), followed by Louisiana (23), and Alaska (21).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-149), followed by Oklahoma (-67), and Wyoming (-26).
