According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in November, 2020, New Mexico added the highest number of jobs to the private mining, except oil and gas industry (426), followed by Texas (85), and California (31).

On the other hand, Alabama added the least number of jobs (-222), followed by Minnesota (-165), and Montana (-149).
