According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2020, West Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the private mining, except oil and gas industry (167), followed by Nevada (90), and Virginia (47).

On the other hand, Minnesota added the least number of jobs (-283), followed by Pennsylvania (-211), and New York (-206).
