According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2020, Illinois added the highest number of jobs to the private mining, except oil and gas industry (212), followed by Ohio (175), and Iowa (156).

On the other hand, Alabama added the least number of jobs (-323), followed by Kentucky (-204), and Virginia (-77).
