According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in November, 2021, Nevada added the highest number of jobs to the private mining, except oil and gas industry (102), followed by Texas (99), and Alabama (98).

On the other hand, North Dakota added the least number of jobs (-137), followed by Idaho (-115), and Alaska (-102).
