United States Payroll Employment By State for The Private Construction Industry in April, 2023

According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2023, California added the highest number of jobs to the private construction industry (18,795), followed by Illinois (14,707), and Michigan (11,348).

On the other hand, Louisiana added the least number of jobs (-1,656), followed by South Carolina (-413), and North Carolina (-221).
